What are you doing in response to Covid?

We are monitoring the situation and we currently meet in our sanctuary and on Facebook Live on Sundays. We are following New York State guidelines and CDC guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our community. If you come to visit in person, masks are required if you are not vaccinated and masks are optional if you are.

Does your church welcome LGBTQ+ members?

Wholeheartedly. We are proud to be an open and affirming church. Our pastor and communications manager are part of the LGBTQ+ community and we have several members who are as well. We are part of More Light Presbyterians, which is an organization within the Presbyterian Church (USA) that has worked to help make the church a place that not only welcomes the LGBTQ+ community, but also celebrates it.

What denomination do you belong to?

Our church is part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), but our pastor is part of the United Church of Christ and the people in our congregation come from a variety of spiritual and religious backgrounds. Being part of the Presbyterian Church (USA) means that we are part of the Reformed tradition of Christianity, which emerged out of the Protestant Reformation. One of our sayings is "The church reformed, always reforming," because we believe that the church is always going through reformations in small ways and big ways. We seek to be a church that is in touch with our Christian traditions while also being present to what is going on in the world around us. What do people wear to your church?

We are a come as you are kind of church. Some people dress business casual while others are just casual. If you're wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops, that's okay! We're happy to have you.

Does your church have parking?

Yes. You can enter our parking lot from either North Lane or School Street.

​

How long are your services?

Our services are usually about an hour.
